Anybody here play Hold 'Em?

If so what sites do you play on, if any? What do you, and don't you like about it?

I play pokerstars.com. It's pretty decent. I like a lot of the features. Including the fact that you can bet real money. The only thing I really dislike is that when playing for 'play money', you can only rebuy twice an hour. Grrrrr, I hate making two foolish all ins quickly.

you're a horrible waste. I work 72 fucking hours a week. I think I'm entitled to a little gambling. I never bet more than I can afford to lose. And working the statistics does have an intellectual value..... Fuck you.

i play, mostly with friends
i wouldnt call it a waste at all. neither is it entirely chance. if it was, you wouldnt see the same people in the finals for major tournaments

 

I love this game, I think that God, the consciousness that creates all matter that scientists are starting to prove exists in the zero point field, and that is it all one energy, everything interconnected and all that jazz.... Well I feel it's presence all the time, thus it exists in the card game.

So really play hold em, is for me this mystical experience. There is a bunch of skill involved with the game, but the "luck" is really this intelligence that has a great sense of humor, albiet not a percieved fair one.

 

I dont play online. I play with friends. we got nice sets of chips and everything.

I was playing poker stars for a while this summer, I did pretty okay, but now I don't really have the cash I wanna front for gambling online.


Still play with some friends every once in a while, and my friends are all chumps, so I like it better that way.

 

Im better than most of my Meat Space friends too. Except megan. . she is just good at everything she does.

 

There are a lot of good reasons to have stupid friends.
