So yesterday night, I fell asleep but woke up because of a noise, then began to drift away again, but i knew what was happening very well. I thought the same way as for when im awake, i understood that i was meditating, i understood exactly the position i was in, where i was, i could even do math and come up with the corect answers...I understood this because i began to see a TV set an old modern style...The prospective was a light brown color almost baige but as i was thinkin but yet very clear, almost like a halucination, From what i seen, When i thought of myself meditating and who i was, and what i was doing, it threw me off a bit by making ther prospective start to make a wave affect like it was getting distorted, but i could get back on track, if i concintrated...but uunfortinatly the excitment of beeing in such a state of mind overwhelms, I belive from just a couple of good experiances like this you can procede to learn the best techniques in how to meditate.
Cutivate the state, experiment with it, investigate it. I have had times in the not so recent past where I have had 'lucid' dream states where I am reading, word for word, books that I had read; seeing the pages. Great potential is available to us. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dreaming .
