Don't know what happened to my post, went to edit it and well, I guess you can see it disappeared somewhere into never never land. Well anyways, I'm curious about a few things. I live in a VERY small town in Florida, but unfortunately it's not the type of community that a soap & candle maker that also sells deities, herbs, oils, etc. can be accepted in. I'ts time to move on. I can no longer pose as a payroll clerk doing the 9-5. I have my stock of goods, a 85 Toyota micro-bus, and nothing holding me back. So, where do I begin? I have read a lot of posts, and have gotten a few ideas, but it's a tough call to make. I'm just looking for a community that I can do my thing in, you know my soaps, candles & I also play the guitar very well. So I have a means to support myself, and the will to do it. BUT have no idea where to start looking. I'm used to HOT HOT and DAMN IT'S HOT AGAIN weather, but totally changing climate is not out of the question. If anyone has any advice on the do's & don'ts and/or can direct me to someone or something that could give me a starting point, I would sure appreciate it. Sorry about the second post here too, But I think the other one is possessed, because it won't let me back in!
Hey there, just wondering if you're still around... I know i'm replying to an old post. Any luck yet? I'm looking for pretty much the same thing, the commune thing would be great. I also play guitar, maybe not as good as you, but can jam pretty good. I saw a show on making soap from goats milk, it looked interesting, and I've always wanted to learn how to make candles and incense. Peace to you...wherever you are.
