Operation Ivy are probably the biggest ska-punk band. I don't think there are really that many, because most of them fall under 3rd wave ska...
the specials and their tribute band the more specials...ahh...some good musak there ....it's on and off with me and ska-punk.....sometimes it really pees the crud out of me and other times it's quite refreshing. depends whether im in the mood for simple bare stuff or more complicated music.
i like Less Than Jake and Millencolin (ska?) Millencolin has always been a favorite of mine. The swedes know how to boogie!
The specials were more ska than punk, if you mention them you can go as far as saying Bad Manners and Madness. Recently I like Less than jake, Reel Big Fish, Spunge and goldfinger
you all seem to be forgetting about Sublime, even though a lot of people don't know what category to put them in...i say they're pretty ska.
oh, i love sublime... completely. but not all their stuff is ska. i dont know, for some reason i dont see them as a ska band. i really dont know y.
man ska is fucking cool. i dont know that many ska bands, but what iv heard of it is pretty good... i need to look into it more. i was at this place today and there was a ska punk band playing, and a group of 15 of us or so were skanking to it... pretty fucking sweet.
