Welcome everybody, to Shawna's Random Thought Talk Show. As usual, I'm bored. Let's see,... this is what I did so far today: I woke up at my best friend, Allison's, (and co-founder of our clothing company, "Mmm,...BEEFY!",) house. I had spent the night there for 4th of July. After having moved to this area 3 yrs ago from an enormous city, I relaized there is nothing adventurerous to do in our town. So at the beginning of summer, we decided to make a list of things to do for when we get bored. As soon as we woke up we played Jeopardy on her TV and I kicked ass! We like to play it because we gain more knowledge. Then her cool-ass dad brought us doughnuts, (not made with lard, of course, because we are both vegetarians.) We were really dissappointed because there weren't anymore of our usual maple bars. We made the most of the other doughnuts. After about 5 games of Jeopardy we decided we need to do something. It sucks when neither one has a car. So we call up my mom and she takes us home. We gazed at our list and decided to paint pictures. There we were: outside on the patio, listening to the gentle breeze, and doing the best form of self-expression. We painted like 12. We got the idea to share our artwork at the local pier for $.50 each while she played the guitar. We dressed up in groovy, beatnik hats, glasses, and scarves, so we would catch peoples' eyes. There sure was a lot of tourists in town for the 3-day weekend. We got donations and sold some art. We ate garlic fries and went home. We decided we are going to go back soon and she will learn the cords to a bunch of Janis Joplin songs while I sing for money. It should be fun. I watched a little bit of TV, which I am trying to avoid, with my dad and got a phone call. My boss wants me to work tomorrow. I babysit for her and bus tables at her restaurant. Tomorrow I am babysitting her adorable 3-yr-old. My fiance stopped by before he went riding, (on a bike. One less car!) I think about what Allison and I will do after I get off working at noon. We have bus passes so we don't pollute the air, or have to bug our parents. We need to do a lot of things, but I think tomorrow, we are going to use the $ we earned to do something. Hmmm,....... Now I need to clean, but I'll let you know when I am doinh something worth talking about! Bye!
