When i become a pot activist, i will work for legalization, but by a step-by-step process. First, i will work to get congress to move tetrahydrocannabinols from schedule I (meaning totally illegal - no accepted medical value and unprescribable) to schedule III. Schedule III drugs are ones that aren't seriously addicting (like marinol, hydrocodone and codeine combination products, LSA, and ketamine). The most addictive drugs that are available by prescription are schedule II, mostly narcotics (oxycodone, morphine, fentanyl, methadone) and others non-narcotics (amphetamine, pcp, cocaine, etc.) And obviously pot is not as addictive as schedule II controlled substances.
