    The Peanut Butter Conspiracy is a funny name for a band!
    Remember the late 60's one of the top selling food of the hippies were Peanut butter... so here come their paranoia (under a bad trip probably) when they think that the governement want to poisoned the anti-vietnam community... definitly ...The Peanut Butter Conspiracy is one of the best name ever...

    a local band called special ed and the shortbus bluegrass band, one of the guy's names is ed, and they call him special ed, i think its hilarious...

    and the band is a pretty good name too...

    i decided if i was ever to start a band i would name it the motorbycle ya ya's...

    The Dayglo Abortions. Excellent band, awesome name.

    RE: Throbbing Gristle - it's an acquired taste. Industrial music, which bridged modern stuff and musique concrete.
