    Let's start this off right!
    Who in here likes Shpongle?
I first found Shpongle the night after I tried shrooms.
Boy, that put me on a wild ride.
I think that Shpongle's music has an enlightening glow about it.
What would be your favourite album/track?

I downloaded a bumch of Shpongle a while ago, and it was amazing..I don't usually like music from the 90's, let alone Trance music. I think my favorite album would have to be "Tales of The Inexpressible", and my favorite track is "Dorset Perception".

    Same here.
That's the first album I got.
I love the sound of "Nothing Last...But Nothing's Lost" though.

Check out Simon Posford's other projects: Younger Brother, Hallucinogen, etc. He is AMAZING. And his genius goes way beyond Shpongle which in my opinion is the second best to Younger Brother.

sphongle are the greatest, i have been a fan of simon posford for maybe 10 years and i saw raja ram ( half of sphongle ) playing at the shiva moon festival in germany whilst on too much LSD :) the new album- nothing lasts and nothing is lost is wicked too and there is a remix sphongle cd if you can get it, enjoy fellow trippers :)

    Shpongle is fantastic, yes.
    I also love Halluncinogen.
But, I'm a bigger fan of Shpongle.
Raja Ram's tribal feel (with his BITCHIN flute) fits my fancy.

Of course if ya like Shpongle, you really should hear Entheogenic! THE only equal to allmighty Shpongle!!! But other just as good artists would be Ott, Doof, Infinity Project, Mystery Of The Yeti, Ozric Tentacles, and Shulman. those are the top of the line producers in that whole psy-chillout scene, that sound as psychadelic as Shpongle! and i know much more if thats not enough for you, just ask...

i think they are one of the top 5 psy artists every noob MUST hear, and one of the 3 leading artists to COMPLETELY reinvent themselves with each album and still sound just as awesome and original as they did when the whole psy scene started, infected mushrooms "i wish" (psy's catchiest) and "PGM" (psy's deepest) being my favorites!!!

tho EVERYONE here should d/l Chi A.D. - Exit Eternity! (psys most epic and emotional) I swear it is the epic epitome of musical history! (after shpongle's day turned to night, of course!)

I love Shpongle, as far as I'm concerned Simon Posford is the best psy trance artist about at the moment, seems to be way ahead of others. Saw him DJ for the album launch in Bristol, was a good birthday! :)

Can never decide which of the 3 is my favourite album though...

Hey people, you have mentioned the Ozrics, Doof etc but what about Eat Static???? They are the godfathers of modern trance, listen to Abduction or prepare your spirit or Instinct, these rock big time. I saw Eat Static play in the early nineties and theya re still going strong. They are 2 members of The Ozrics and they frequently play festivals including the Psy festivals around the world but also the likes of Glastonbury. so listen tell us what you think. There is so much good music out there try it all :) Boom shanka

Yeah all good, especially Eat Static, still think Simon Posford really kick started the scence off with "Twisted"
