Queen are one of my favourite bands. Freddie is the best rock singer of all times, but he had also some strange dignity and that's why I like him as a preformer as well. And not only the vocal, but the music and the lyrics of this groop, everything is great. They were so original. Do you agree with me?
Queen are nothing without Freddie Mercury. Do u know that Robbie Williams is mad on Queen cause they did't like him to sing on their tour - stupid. Robbie can't compare with Mercury at all. That's it.
I love Queen. I don't think they were really appreciated as much then as now TBH. It toook Freddie's death to really make them take off in some ways. Songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, I Want To Break Free, Don't Stop Me Now will always be classics for some part of all generations to come and rightly so because some of their songs broke down the stereotypes of rock music in their day.
Queen are one of the bands I tend to listen to most these days... They rocked so hard... and with pop-like melodies at the same time..
I like Queen, they are heavy metal glam rock. I wanna get "A Night At The Opera". It is on my list of albums that I want.
I'd rather call them a Hard Rock band with Pop sensibilities... Albums i'd recommend getting (apart from A Night At The Opera), would be, Sheer Heart Attack & Jazz.
