    Bust their ass again !

I pray that you let enough water fall on south Lousiana to bust the levee's again, and see how perfectly you can aim for the center of the Galveston Bay. I thought about sending another letter to sssi and asking them would they call me if you winked at them before hitting houston, but I don't have time to waste playing with those boys anymore.
I have an idea of how much shit is in the water now and at least they are starting to burn some of the millions of barells of oil and petroleum from the ruptured vessel's that are pouring out.
It's not like they are going to be able to clean it up.
I laugh now instead of crying or being disgusted when I hear something like a spokesperson from the EPA say, "the solution to pollution is dilution",
or the president talk about rebuilding N.O.,
it would be nice to see that cluster fuck, and if you want to drag it out of them...
    that's fine with me.
I'll be doing my best to sop up that federal money and working to put my family in a position so that at least we can survive without running on electricity and gasoline.

Give'em hell baby. They deserve it.

    I love you
    Amen.

That makes perfect sense ... I don't necessarily agree with it, but I understand the poster's point of view and sympathize with his intentions.

    Perhaps.

I do agree though, that it's ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING that our country did nothing to prevent Katrina's wrath from owning up New Orleans, and even after-the-fact, the mayor had to go onto PUBLIC TELEVISION just to plead for the President to help. Bush is such an ignorant fuck. It makes me sick and very, very angry.

And honestly, as terrible as it may sound, we need another large-scale disaster like that, to further expose how shitty our government is. They don't actually DO anything anymore other than swindle money.

Hikaru, that's true, the government is a total racket; but hardly any reason to call for another disaster. It'd be far better to have a few insiders come out and admit whats been going down. But then, none of this is really unknown: people just don't care enough. It's more of a joke now, how the government wastes our money. Which is really to say, they steal it, for their pork programs (or for their own pockets).

The funny (sad, actually) thing is that people get in a big uproar when it's local. not long ago the mayor of Detroit was found to be using city money to buy himself a personal SUV. The city was (is still, I believe) in very poor financial condition and having budget problems (causing police layoffs, etc). So everyone got all upset, there was a big media thing over it. And that's such a small thing. But when the president of the US starts a war of choice to further his and his buddies' own ends for oil...not to mention large tax cuts to the rich during a war (running huge deficits thus amassing an even more monstrous debt), no one does a thing. Some protests, sure, but there's just widespread apathy all across the board.

Yeah, I'm not saying that I WANT another disaster (like the OP is), but if another one is on its way, I hope that SOME good comes out of it; namely, showing how worthless our government is.

Either way, some disaster or another is going to happen eventually that will expose a lot of flaws in our government. 9/11 was the start, the tip of the iceberg.

very good start of a thread

i say lets keep this one going

    i want to see more

    cuz this government is PORK

through and through, and i for one am sick of it

i wish there were some disasters that could occur and not hurt ppl though, but would cause the government to actually do real work and spend $ on more important things, things that actually help the country and its ppl.

    good luck though,,

like three trillion in debt, cost of living and such going up, gap between rich and poor increasing

    i mean... come on...

one day somethings gonna give,, as it has in the past.. civil war and such..

i wouldnt be saying this or even be on the forum if i werent poor and kost and confused and pissed off, though,

    its crazy,,

    hum
