i noticed about a year ago (much to my horror) that i had one or two gray hairs. i pulled them out, and didn't really think much about it after that. now i am suddenly noticing that i have quite a lot, like too many to pull out. am i going to be totally gray by 30? argh....that's going to be wierd looking.
My dad started to get grey hair when he was in his 20's... some people do get grey hair really young. I sometimes find white hairs, like one every now and then, but in my case it's because I don't eat very well, and have hypoglicemia.
You shouldn't pull out your grey hairs. My gram used to give my aunts a nickle when they would pull out a grey hair on her head when they were little kids, and now she has really thin hair, and you can see her scalp. Just love your grey hairs!
I have had gray hairs since I turned 14. It's kinda funny too because the rest of my hair is black and extremely curly, and the grey hairs are straight, and for some reason longer than the rest of my hair. Oh and if you pull out the greys, two will grow back in its place.
I actually get the occasional black hair in my beard, which is perhaps even stranger than finding a grey hair considering I'm a red head.
white hair is awesome and i like when people let their bodies age naturally, but if it bothers you too much, why not just dye your hair? there's thousands of hair dyes out there...wouldn't be too big of a deal.
I also prefer it when people keep their hair natural, grey, or white... actually, I've always thought that a woman or a man, being old, who dies their hair a darker color look older than if they just kept it natural. Dark hair on mature/old people make the wrinkles even more noticeable, and it gives the face a harsh look, if you see what I mean. Me, when I'm old, I'll let my hair grey then white, and won't cut it, like so many old women do.
haha, yeah, i know all about hair color. i dyed and bleached it too many times last year, and ended up shaving my head. i just now have "normal" hair again. i'm planning on not dying it anymore, because it's too much of a hassle, but i guess if i end up with all white hair in the next few years, i might rethink my stance...
if you think about it, people may think you made your hair white on purpose. you could always say its the new spring style. i think it'll be fine and i bet it will look real nice no matter what.
my mother had shiney black hair, and then about her mid 20's she got this shock of white hair at the center of her forehead, her widow's peak, i guess. i always thought it looked super cool. then she started dying her hair, and the grey never looked right. i haven't gone grey so far as i can tell, but i've been dying my hair since i was 16. but then, my life has never been nearly as hard as my mother's.
