i only say no, mainly because i love looking and reading ALL crafty type posts/projects so to me, it would be easier to just keep a it in the general craft forum, rather than having to go all over the place. That's just me though...i'm rather lazy when it comes to forums...

I agree with Lucy. If there were a knit/crochet forum, I'm afraid all the other different kinds of crafts would follow with wanting their own forums, and we wouldn't be one big happy creative family in here anymore.

I see everyones point, but also, as a person who can't sew at all, I find that knitting and crochet ideas tend to get buried before I even see them. That totally isn't a dig at the sew-ers, because you all know I am in awe of your talents. I love looking at all your creations!

If there was a "yarn-arts forum" I wouldn't stop hanging around at this one... I would just have more of a place to appeal for a free wrappy-cardigan knitted pattern, and have more people see it, understand it, and maybe respond.

good idea for a knit/crochet forum. stuff gets buried in the main fashion and crafts pretty quickly

i would have to say no for a separate forum for knitting and crocheting. i love seeing the variety in the fashion and crafts forum. :D
