Building a Triad Outside Los Angeles

I live in a tiny cottage (two bedroom, bathroom, livingroom, kitchen, utility room, basement). It's on an irregular piece of property that amounts to 1/4 acre. For financial reasons I am in need of finding a third man to live here. He would have a basement room and equal access to common areas (kitchen, washer/dryer as well as a garden to work on/with).

I have been unsuccessful with Craigslist. I'm looking for a gay male as my current housemate and I are both gay. Is this idea farfetched?

BTW, rent is $400.

The room has finally been rented out to a SWM artist type who works for the studios. Should be interesting.
