My boy keeps getting the hiccups. Are we not burping him properly? Should I worry? What can we do to make them go away?

It's perfectly normal. He will grow out of it soon. Mine would hiccup in utero-talk about annoying!

ha Trey gets the hiccups ALL the time. At least once a day. I always feel so bad for him even though everyone says it doesn't bother him.

kai's gotten hiccups all the time sinc ei was pregnant with her. they drive her crazy, but since i convinced her that drinking water makes them better, i have a much easier time of getting her to drink water. ;)

my ellie also got hiccps all the time. i had one nurse tell me to try and give her something to suck. this is when i would use the pacifier. i really wasn't crazy over the pacifier idea in general as i was breastfeeding and didn't want nipple confusion. but i felt relieved to be able to take away her annoyance or mine. i've always heard hiccups don't really hurt or bother them. but i would always feel so bad and be like what should i do.

Babies tend to hiccup a lot. Put him on the breast, and the swallowing wil help. It really bothers the mama and dad more than it bothers the baby.

Babies have really immature digestive systems, so hiccups are really common.
