it's shit funny how people talk about how they never talk about the iraqi death toll and how horrible it is that women and children are dying, but when more women and children will be killed by a course of action we suddenly become selfish dumb fucks and ignore the fact that there is now factionalism in iraq and last wedesneday there were 11 bombings in bagdad focusing on a particular group


so come on and put your "oh it's so sad that we're killing all these people" together with your "we need to get out of there as soon as possible" we fucked up but now we need to stay there for a little while to fix it

if this idiot bush weren't in office we wouldn't have this situation, we killed a lot more iraqis and have caused the deaths of way more than saddam would have killed

I'm far from being a pacifist. 9-11 shook my world and pissed me off badly. I'm just saying that this is the wrong war. I though Al Qaeda was the enemy. Oh, we've got terrorists in Iraq now, hell yes. Iraq is like flypaper for every kook in the region. And we can't kill them all, it's impossible. Kids are being born right now that we're going to have to deal with 15-20 years from now. It's cool that Saddam's gone, but shit, when we finally do pull out the extremists will probably take over, with someone in charge who is at least as bad as Saddam. We're in a mess, and it didn't have to be this way.
