There is no "main" attraction. But personally, I'll mostly likely be joining the anarchist contigent...yes, they will be there too. ;)

It's about being heard and seen, gathering with like minded people and letting the president know that your pissed off. I will be there because my friend and brother Clay will not. He was killed in Iraq. I made it back from that dirty war after fifteen months. It is those who sit idly by and say nothing that change nothing. I personally will come back home with a sense of accomplishment. Compacency kills.

Be careful. Since New York's RNC protests, the DC and Maryland cops have been picking up the RNC cops' tactics and it's not generally pretty.

I'd agree with be careful. It's wise to get with training sessions etc.. and plan things out. Remember, you're going up against the largest, most well funded, and certainly psychotic war machine in the world. Not to mention the 'anti-protesters' who will surely be there as well. I wish I could be in DC but can't, I'll be doing something locally as well as many others who can't make it to the capital. There are simultaneous actions planned all across the country.

I wish I could go, but my parents would kill me...i just entered highschool, and you guys would be sooo surprised how many people are going, and have the same idea of bush and politics that I do. A lot of my friends are going. MAN! I've always wanted to go to a protest,....I guess i'll have to wait a couple years.

Unfortunately, the mainstream media in the U.S. will likely ignore the whole event. Well, maybe CNN will carry ten seconds of the protest on Daybreak at 5 am when no one is watching. :)

If there's violence, Fox will show only the unrest, like they did when the dragon float caught fire during the anti-Bush protest in NY during the RNC convention in 2004 (look at those horrible protestors!). Of course, Fox and the rest of the news networks ignored the other 3 hours of peaceful march.

Yeah, that's their job. It's what they get paid to do. They are roughly the size of puppets on the tv screen so it's not a far shot to picture a hand up their butt, working their mouth.

In a post a while back, I mentioned about how one of the anchors (at MSNBC or CNN) pronounced moveon.org the wrong way (saying 'move' as you would pronounce 'rove'). Goes to show you how out of touch they are with the grass roots.

Anyhow, I hope you folks get some coverage.
