What did/do you all use for teething?
Bella has been crabby for 2 days, has a runny nose, had a slight fever. I think she might be teething. We give her chewies, but she can't keep them in her mouth by herself. We are going camping and will be in the car for awhile so I won't be able to hold them in her mouth for her while I'm driving. I don't want her to be miserable.

Josh says he has heard of using white wine........ :H

    Thanks!

Yeah, I've heard a little whisky rubbed on the gums worked, but my girls teething just never got that bad. I used Hyland's teething tablets (they're a homeopathic..all natural...) for my second and that seemed to work. I got them at my mainstream grocery store in the "natural foods" section.

we used frozen washcloths. you're not really supposed to though, because they can cause frostbite.

i'd stay home. seriously. if i felt like shit like that, the last thing i'd want to do is go anywhere. i wouldnt expect a baby to either.

i second the teething tablets. i used baby oragel on my son with success, but the numb feeling horrified my daughter, so i tried the tablets--they work sooo much better, plus they aren't nasty (i tried both myself, and the tablets actually taste yummy, and the oragel is not pleasant at all)
