Does anyone know what im talking about?

There was an episode of the brady bunch a couple weeks ago.. and i forgot which one it was.. umm.. it might have been the one where Davy Jones was gonna sing at the prom, well anyways there was this chick in the most amazing pants ever. They were like stripped and they were different shades of brown and earthy pink. I found a pair of those on ebay, but their from someone in the uk. So im gonna try making a pair since i cant find them here.. but...

I wanna do a zipper and button this time. How the crap do ya do a zipper?

And also... is it possible to make like a fringy vest to go with it?

 

Well,there are tons of sites showing instructions on sewing in a zipper. I think it depends on what type of zipper you're going to use...

You could definitely do the fringed vest. If you're making it our of plain ol' fabric,like cotton..just use that to make little strips. I would make them like drawstrings so that there are no rough edges showing,then press them flat,then stitch them on. Does that make sense?

unless you're moraly oposed, maybe you could make a fringed vest out of some kind of leather (or fake leather, which would be cheaper) since it doesn't fray and all.
