I don't understand you guys. I've smoked salvia numerous times. I've done 5x, 10x, 20x (purple sticky salvia), and 21x. The purply sticky was 70 bucks but it was a whole lot better than that Club 13 s***. Anyway, even on the purple sticky salvia, I didn't trip. I have never tripped once on salvia. Sure, the purple sticky salvia made me laugh really hard, but i wasn't seing stuff that wasn't really there.
to truley achieve a breakthrough with salvia i would recommend the following -use a bong filled with ice water (in order to cool the smoke so it can be held longer) -use a torch lighter (as the active chemical in salvia has a high vaporization temp) -make sure to hold in your hits for 20-30 seconds thats about all the advice I can give you, it worked for me.
mellow is right. Also ... Purple Sticky Salvia is a relatively low quality product, to my knowledge. Their extracts are made with lower concentrations of salvinorin-A than other products, and headshops sell it at a ludicriously high price. Also, you have to be REALLY strict with yourself about using the right smoking technique. You can smoke all the Salvia you want, and if you aren't smoking it right, your body won't get any of the active ingredient. Make sure you follow mellow's recommendations to a T, and buy some Salvia from IAmShaman.com if you need to. Keep in mind ... some people are just naturally "hardheads," about 1 out of every 10 people. You could quite possibly be one, which means that Salvia affects you far less than the average person. Crude extracts are made by soaking the leaves in a variety of solvents to dissolve the salvinorin-A out of the leaves. The trouble with this is that a lot more than just the Salvinorin A gets dissolved out of the leaves, much of the plant lipids (fat, oil, wax and tar ) get dissolved in the solvent as well and end up in the extract and subsequently in your lungs. Fortified leaf is prepared by combining Salvia divinorum leaves with some form of Salvia divinorum extract (not crystals like the standardized). o) Best consumption method: I would have to insist on a short pipe with screen, if no screen, substitue it a little bit of bud packed over the hole (if you have any). If you want even more strength, use a gravity bong to contain all of the smoke and then hit it all up at once though I must say deep inhalation experience is needed. I've never had to use a damn torch or nothing and dont listen to the majority of those who do. Just because Salvinorin-A needs to be active at a certain tempature does not mean high heat is need, since all the flame will be focused in the first place. The problem has more to do with suction; best thing to do is use something no wider than a toothpick to prick a hole down through the middle and have a lighter on high. On a final note, it is extremely important that you do hold in the smoke for at least 30 seconds to fully absorb the chemical. Most people are unaware of this important principle and waste precious smoke. Stupid assholes. ^^^dude that salviazone site looks like a scam...saliva has to be dosed precisley to acheive desired effects, not to mention the individuals sensativity to salvinorin A, and individual experience. what im trying to say is you cant simply recommend a 'color code' and tell someone that 'red' or 'blue' will give them a certain level of experience.
