Designed to highlight some of the snags that emerge and often defeat the most willing yet unprepared visitor and/or future resident. Not your standard travel guide - it offers advice on virtually every subject - read it on the plane - by the time you arrive you will know as much as the author!

"At Home in the Algarve - A Practical A-Z for Visitors & Residents"

    FOREWORD
Dr. Jose Pearce de Azevedo, OBE
    Hon. British Consul (1965-2000)
Former President of Tourism of the Algarve

"This is a real encyclopaedia of the Algarve... making up a significant, painstaking work by Celia Moxey on the picturesque charm of this southernmost province of Portugal... It is clear that the perfect knowledge of the author, who lived in Portugal for more than 35 years, the bulk of which in the Algarve, will undoubtedly benefit students, residents, or people in general visiting this beautiful region of Portugal..."
