im vegan but for a way differnt reason that most pople the reason is....

ok so my parents were vegan until i was about 10 and they were all like this is dead animal. so i ate some meat and i didnt like. i have yet to find meat that i like. all meat is just gross.

lol. meat is gross. I have been vegetarian for a while now and every time I even think about eating a piece of meat again, I lose my appetite.

Thats cool! Ive been a vegetarian all my life and i just turned vegan because i have these total moral issues. Meat sucks, its like, DEAD BODY! hello? i'm not eating any corpses!!

Yeah meat is pretty gross. It totally creeps me out to think of what it actually is, then the fact I actually enjoyed ingesting such a thing. *shudders* have seen sense now, won't be doing that any more.

 

i don't see it as meat.

i look at a cow and don't see a steak, i don't see a burger, i don't see a glass of milk, i don't see a cheesecake.
i see a scared soul. a slave.

i see the meat case at the grocery store and people hovering around it .. uneducated, not knowing what they are really putting into their physical bodies.
makes me hurt inside. i want to tell them, but most refuse to believe. reminds me of nazi german in a lot of strange ways.

all i can do is plant seeds and educate those around me, gently.

 

Well, try educating SOME People! my friends think im crazy, they say 'its natural' they understand understand that cannibalism isnt natural but they dont see that neither is eating any living creature.
I see where you're coming from on the whole scared soul thing, Boogabaah, they didnt ask to be tortued and killed did they?
I was telling some guy the other day that in india they worship cows an he just laughed at me, i dont think he believed.
I don't beleive in forcing my veiws on others but if asked, i will tell!

 

i know what you mean.

people laugh at me everyday.
i'm healthier than them.
i'm happier than them.
they just chose to be .. "blind" .. "meat comes from a happy animal, that enjoyed dying so i could live." .. very selfish.

education. gentle. slow. .. but it's changing. planting seeds in the minds of people who don't yet truely understand whats really going on.

livestock is a dirty word in my book.

 

i cant stand even to see meat..or worse, the smell.. i've been vegatarian for like 22 years or so, & now i litteraly cant tell the difference betweeen the smell of meat & the smell of shit
some people just cant see how theres no difference in the animals they call pets & those they call food, if they just saw all animals as beautiful living creatures instead of pre-packaged ready to eat meals .....i usualy ask them if theyre hungry, would they eat theyre cat, or dog
