Do you guys remember the very short lived Clerks animated show? It was hilarious. ABC only ran two episodes before they pulled it off the air. There was a total of six episodes ever created, they are available on DVD. If you haven't seen this show, I advise you to go out a find a copy.
Oh man, my brother owns that DVD and we've watched it sooooooo many times. It never gets old. Kevin Smith is such a genius. One of my all time favorite quotes came from the episode where Jay and Silent Bob bought the monkey to teach it to smoke and Randall tells Dante he scared the monkey and Dante says, "He's not scared, he's masturbating," then Leonardo Leonardo comes in and says, "Oh my, something must have frightened that monkey." Oh man. Priceless. Haha. I just wish the series could've lived a little longer, I'm sure Cartoon Network's Adult Swim would eat it up if there were a few more episodes. They did get Family Guy back on the air with new episodes, after all.
Yeah, I didnt expect it to survive very long on ABC, but Comedy Central played all the episodes for a while after it got pulled. There was a clay animation show they played around the same time about two guys on a road trip that was pretty funny, Gary and Mike or something like that...but yeah the animated clerks was hilarious.
mike and gary was good. i liked the one where hes using the horrid bathroom and an eye peeks thru the stall and clerks was funny as hell too. I remember the part when jay kept busting into the store during a parade or a riot or some shti and kept updating us on what all kind of fucked up shit was going on out there. like lesbian orgies and stuff
Haha, that's the best quote. "What's this show?" "I dunno, but it won some humanitarian award." "What's that?" "An award for shows that don't use words like retarted" "... Thats retarted... And queer." Excellent show...
