because clowns don't make people laugh by being funny, they make people laugh by being so miserable that the person feels a little nervous and a chuckle squeezes out, they are anti jokes



so when a joke dies it reaches 0 so it pulls it's antithesis (the clown) to 0 they cancel each other out and die
