Hippie cousin needs help (Hurricaine Katrina)

My cousin was going to LSU and lost everything in the hurricane. He is now looking to relocate to Cali near UCLA where he has a job lined up. he is a white male 29 years old and formerly worked for green peace. My cousin is the most loving and wonderful guy I know, it would be great if someone could help him make a new start. He has a car but would need a place to stay for at least 3 to 6 months while he gets adjusted in Cali. He does work (alot) and would be willing to help with rent after he starts his job and gets settled(about 2 months). By the way he was training to be a chef at one point in new orleans and would be more than happy to help in that area(amazing cook).Please respond ASAP, hes ready for a new beginning. A community inviroment would be great as well as individual

I find it strange to describe your cousin as a White male. Anyone who is going to help is going to help, regardless of skin color.

 

I would gladly take in your cousin if I had my own place and a room for him. How would he feel about crashing on a couch for awhile till he finds something else? I live very close to LA, and I will duscuss this with my family. I really hope you get more responses. Email me if you are still in need.

 

Why is it so taboo to say what color someone is on here when describing them?

I understand the whole one color idea, I am much the same,
judging on character and deeds rather than color, but i still
dont think there is anything wrong with using it as a description.

you are right, this is rainbow way, something i know little about.

But, is a rainbow not made of many independantly identifiable colors? If it were one
color, then it wouldnt be a rainbow would it?
