Did he forget, though, that he was supposed to be looking out for the country too?

Seems like all it takes to become a top official in FEMA is to be a buddy of Bush. 5 out of 8 of the top FEMA officials had virtually no experience in handling disasters - but what experience did they have? They helped Bush with his 2000 presidential campaign, of course!

How can anyone even close to consider Bush as a good and appropriate leader when he looks out for his social circle more than the citizens of the country he leads? How can anyone, besides his aristocrat friends who he works so hard to benefit, possibly support him as a leader?

It is my fervent hope that the total ineptitude made so visably apparent with the Katrina disaster is jr's Watergate.
An emperor's legacy 2,000 years ago was "Nero fiddled while rome burned".
I would like history to remember jr thusly: "bush vacationed while New Orleans drowned".

The total disassociation the entire bush clan had with the people they rule is mind-boggling.
barbara bush visited a shelter, and said of the people who had just lost everything they had except the clothes on their back, with people lined up to was the mud and grome off theor children in a tiny sink that they were poor people and thus had things pretty good.
