Actually, he didn't change the words - the roller skates one is the original but I don't know who did it. The Wurzels version is the more famous but it is in fact the cover version.

Got the Portsmouth train back to Guildford coming back from the Football tonight. Lots of blue shirts on the train - of course none were pompey - they were all Chelscum fans. Feel sorry for them really do - they've lost their club and there's a big hole in anything they achieve. Don't feel THAT sorry for them though, after all, I DO hate them! And I have to laugh seeing them parading around in what look very similar to the Wimbledon shirts from the early 90s - same sponsor and the yellow trim to boot.
