i'm taking a cruise to bermuda later this summer and i was wondering if it's possible to get weed onto the cruise ship. instead of relying on getting stuff there, id rather bring it with me. do they have drug dogs when you're first getting on a cruise? i know they have them at the return. im not bringing any back. thanks for any info.
roll joints and pack em in a metal cigarette container. ive never done it but sounds like a good idea right? lol
Just wrap it in plastic and stick it up your ass. Or you could wrap it up and put it in a water bottle...dogs can't smell stuff that's in water, right?
I remember someone saying something about if you wrap the weed in plastic, cover it in lysol and put chopped up jalepeno peppers on it, and wrap it up again, the dogs will turn right away from the smell. I dunno though, never tried it.
I'd be pretty wary, I hear it's bad idea, and they do have drug dogs at ports. I'm going on a pretty cool round-the-world cruise study-abroad program this fall (really am psyched), but I'm gonna be going cold turkey for 4 months - the high risk of bringing drugs overseas being one, and the fact we also had to give consent to piss testing if they ever feel the suspicion so August will be a month of detox.
i am NOT and would never resort to sticking ANYTHING up my ass. exit only. nuff said. id rather not smoke than risk it.
I have been on two cruises and the first time I took a couple of joints in my pocket just so I could ditch it if I needed to. There was no need, no search getting on board the ship, not me or my gear. Second time, I took a quarter and packed it in my shoe, no search to board the ship. However: DO NOT BRING ANYTHING BACK WITH YOU. I was searched both times returning, by customs. It has been my experience that you can take with you but can't bring it back.
thanks deedly, for your first hand experience. were there drug dogs when you got on the ship? im not and have no reason to bring anything back.
I've been on one cruise and getting on the ship I didn't get searched. I didn't smoke at the time so I wasn't carrying anything though. I never saw any dogs anywhere either. Like deedly said, it's much safer taking it with you than bringing it back. Keep in mind that this was pre-9/11 though, so I don't know if they have upped security.
I went on a cruise two weeks ago, and it all depends on what cruise ship company you'll be with. I was with Princess cruises, and they had drug dogs sniffing the luggage while it was being loaded onto the ship. And you had to walk through a metal detector..but that's it. It wouldn't be hard to bring any with you, and I'm sad that I didn't but I still had a great time. And I went on another one a year ago, with Royal Caribbean, and they didn't have drug dogs either.. Just put them in your pocket so you can ditch them easily if needed.
Don't sweat it! Tape it to your thigh and forget about it. I'm a pro and I know what I'm talking about. Bringing it back is another manner. Not that it can't be done- It can!
It can't be that hard, just cut a bar of soap in half, hollow it out and then once you've put the weed in there seal it back up with water.
I just returned from Bermuda via Cruise. You will have no problems bringing weed onto the boat. Either on person or in your bags. However, they are still raiding some random searches when you get to Bermuda. To keep my nose clear, for the days while docked, I stuck my marijuana in a crevice in the a public bathroom. That way if there was a search they couldn't link the weed to me.
my friend told me this pretty good idea.put the bud ina baggy and then make a candle and while you're making the candle put the baggy inside of the candle.when you want to take it out just break the candle.he said it works and the dogs can't smell it, his dad used to be a cop and he knows all this crazy stuff about smuggling.
I was told by a buddy, (his dad being a pig), he said that weed in coffee cannot be smelled by dogs, get one of em small Folgers tin containers, empty it out, you can stick a good O in their, then fill it up with the coffee beans. Its worked many times. I like the candle idea, and the deorderant idea is good as well.
Unfourtunetly, US Customs guys don't need dogs to smell coffee, and it's the oldest and best know trick in the book. They smell coffee- they look in it.
Im not positive about cruise ships, but I fly on a weekly basis and I always keep it on me rather than my luggage. I put it in my wallet and have yet to have an issue. Ansel
