Smoke shop age laws?

Is there any law that requires you to be a certain age to enter/purchase from a smoke shop?

 

i know at least in jersey you have to be 18 to buy anything even related to smokeing, like lighters etc

 

Whatever the age for purchasing tobacco products is in your state.

Since everything they sell is intended for "tobacco" smoking, those are the laws that apply...

 

all head shops in the state of wisconsin were shut down this year. since it was found out that nobody uses bowls for tobacco

Heh I doubt that was any sort of sudden revelation. I've never known of anyone who uses glass bowls for tobacco. If DEA/Ashcroft operations such as "Operation Pipe Dream" keep chuggin' along, the glassware market will eventually be erased from legal businesses. They haven't gotten around to stamping out the head shops in my town, but over where I go to college, in Pittsburgh, the campus head shop was raided about a year or so ago, and the clerk there told me that they were raided as part of a really big nine-state sweep by the feds, all in one day. Yipe.

 

fuckin DEA. shouldnt the govt be helping the homeless and feeding the hungry?

If I owned a head shop I wouldn't want to many kids in there because kids tend to say "bong" which isn't supposed to be said. The smart head shops sell tobacco with their pipes.
