Greetings! has anybody found any liberty caps out yet? i've only come across about 20 after a whole day of hunting in the welsh hills(usually prime territory! still waiting for the rains. interested to know how its going with fellow fans of this cheeky little fungus.
Ahhh the pleasures of the Welsh countryside! I live in a prime area for them too! Which is nice! Sheep and mushies eh!?!
last couple of days have been wet ,both rain and now more mist, what we need is some foggy misty and warm sunshine in the morning and then get up early around six and head for the hlls and harvest. eat them untill you puke. go carefull kids its a jungle out there.Tarzan.
went out today for a bike ride and stopped at a hillside with potential but too late in day and too warm yet soil still real dry, weather forecast is more autumnal later in week so if it becomes damper and misty we could have better chances.
hey hippie girl? Where 'bouts in Wales you from sug? Not anywhere near the Preseli mountains are you? Best mushrooms in the whole of europe from there.
been out agan today the grass is damp and lush on the borders and there are different types of field mushies but didnt note any trippy ones although the sheep looked occupied by something, thursday we are due rain so if we can combine itwith a lil sunshine and sheep shit we could be in luck.Good harvesting folks.
wow. I used to live in newport nr fishgard. We'd go picking up on carn ingly mountain. I loved living up there, its so chilled out and so beautiful. I always said i'd go back to live one day. had any luck with the mushies yet?
