what is the appropriatte punishment AND/OR rehabilatation (and forgiveness?????!!), etc... (put a bit of thought into it)

i dunno, thats a pretty ugly thing to do to someone. i don't think i could say i know what SHOULD be done....

i know what i WOULD do to such a person if they did that to someone i loved however, and it would be a much uglier thing than what they'd done.....

it takes a LOT for me to feel capable of violence, but if i felt justified (such as would be the case if my daughter/sister/lover/whoever was raped) i think i would actually end up being quite cold hearted indeed if i ever found out whodunnit...

i'm talking about a very slow, agonizing demise. it sucks, but its the truth. i dont think i'd show any mercy whatsoever to someone who did such a thing.

I do think it should be in that neighborhood when proven though, needs to be a real deterrent, not that it will stop those types of people

I think we've got to get away from these death sentence type reactions though, its kind of primitive don't you think?

Rape is a crime of violence. When he wakes up and walks out of jail he'll simply use a broken off chair leg.

perhaps instead of a prison sentence they should just be thrown into a supermax with a bunch of hardened life-sentenced and death row prisoners anxious for some lovin? i think there should be a specially designed cell in prisons to throw in convicted rapists so that they can be gangraped repeatedly themselves over the course of a few days. then the gaurds mace them and beat the living daylights out of them till they're unconscious, then they send them off....

i'd say it would be a lesson well learned for a lot of people, but then who knows....obviously a rapist's mind doesn't work like most peoples to begin with, so maybe it needs a different means of dealing with it than a "normal" person would need...

i would support mandatory genital removal, except that its such a harsh punishment and we must realise that not 100% of people convicted of a crime are really guilty, and not 100% of people who are guilty are convicted....

but still, if i had good reason to believe that someone had done something like this, this is one of the few instances where i would take the law into my own hands.

if it can be proven, 100%, without a doubt that the person did rape another person and used a date rape drug...then i'd say death by way of torture. slowly, but surely kill the bastard...very painful death.
