hey im new and full of love. My favorite bands include: The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, The Who, Free, Hendrix, Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, The Kinks, Santana, Sting, Jethro Tull, Fleetwood Mac, Canned Heat, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, U2, Bob Dylan and many more so (not being presumtous) hopefully that says it all!
Welcome! You play bass eh? I need to buy a new bass.. my buddy is borrowing it to practice and I'm teaching him--eh--slowly. heheh. I play any type of guitar you can imagine--anything but air guitar. Can't seem to make decent music with that damn thing. Anyway, good tunes & good times. Peace
I have never learned to play the bass, but my guitar goes where ever I do! You really named off some great talent here! That list could go on and on! Alvin Lee for example . As long as we keep these tunes alive, the ones who have past and left them for us will live on as well! ..............Just like my beloved John Denver.
Hey I've played bass myself on a lot of tunes by those guys. Guitar Girl-- Right on re Alvin Lee. Albert Lee too!
it Michael Bloomfield (one of the guys who set up the Woodstock show) I'm sure you all know who I mean,,,,,,,anyway, didn't he say......... "music has always been a major form of communication" That line has suck in my head since I was young. I hear the bass is best to write songs on cause you can concentrate on the melody better,,,,,is that true?? Keep the tunes alive Woodstock_blazer. Your an original baby. and thanks Wonder Girl I have great respect for those who left us with these great tunes, I was named after a Paul Simon song, so my connection to these guys and gals (alive or otherwise) is more powerful than I know what to do with!
Welcome WB. I saw your thread where you dropped the bass. Did you get it fixed?????????? I'm a Bass Player myself. Had too because my guitar playing sucked.
