I have a phobia of...

Tomato ketchup. Im repulsed by the stuff, and cant have it in the same room through fear that someone will put it near me. Its just...so unnecessary! And smells vile and looks vile and tastes vile. I seriously scream if someone brings it near me. Gross.
So yeah...anyone else got a phobia more pathetic and meaningless than that?...Im thinkin no:S

haha thats so funny cause me and pretty much everyone in my family puts it on EVERYTHING! my neice used to pour it in a bowl and eat it with a spoon! I was never that bad but I do put it on everything.

Its funny cause my husband and his whole family are all repulsed by it like you are! my father-in-law started gaging when he got a whif of it one day when I put it on my homefries! lol


what happend to you as a child that makes you feel this way about ketchup?? lol

N god knows what happened to me. Maybe i was dropped on my head at birth. Would explain a lot. Certainly aint had any unusual experiences with the stuff!

I believe the pic was taken shortly after his birth, and I noticed it does seem like he's sad... but he is so fuzzy and just so adorable I wanted him as my sig


I can't think of any phobia's I have that are weirder then you and ketchup, I am freaked out by spiders but thats pretty common.
I wish I had a weird phobia! lol

 

Hmm, interesting.. I have a severe phobia of throwing up and spiders.. If I'm sick (which I am at the moment) I panic if it feels like I'm going to throw up.. I haven't since 2000 which is really when the fear began..

 

ok...and this word is even hard type.... i have a major phobia of .......BUTTONS.........sheesh.. but only unatatched ones.. i can remember everywhere in my entire life that i've ever seen a loose one...oh god.... someone planted one in a spot in the garden and i still cant dig there even though i think its gone now... someone once told me it was a common phobia...any one else out there got it?.... you have no idea how hard that was to even write the word because it brings a picture to my mind... and no-one laugh you hear..!!!

 

omg!!! me too! it is the nastiest most vile vomistous concotion known to man.

 

I did chuckle, but couldnt help it...you mean like, clothes buttons? Ive never heard of that one before! But at least you wont have to see them very often...just avoid the sewing shop! And well done for writin the word! was hard for me to write ketchup too...makes me wanna spew.

My sister's ex boyfriend has this exact same fear. Weird phobia.
Wheras mine are fairly normal ones.

 

yes i mean clothes ones..and no... couldnt re- attach one...if it loses one the whole garment gets thrown away... after i wrote that post i had to go and wash my hands and i only typed the word..!!!! I sympathise with your ketchup phobia... poor you... and yes i laughed too... everybody elses phobias seem so irrational.. its just our own ones that are a problem...

We used to have a show here called 'face your fears' and they had this buttonphobic woman and they put her in a glass room with someone wearing a suit of buttons..i thought i could do that no sweat... put me in there with one single solitary button and i'd have died a thousand deaths....
