My Daddy crashed his three wheeler up a mountain once before I was born, had to drive back holding the roof on with one hand, anywho, he dug a chunck of glass out of his hand from the windscreen when I was like 10 or something.
He just went oh, whats that hard bit and went and got a stanley knife.

    Yeah, that's a bitch.

Usually it just gets stuck in and annoys me. It's been a while since I've gotten jabbed good enough to bleed.

As your feet bottoms get tougher, the less things will get stuck in them.

Managed to cut my feet on glass tonight. Ironically I'd gone out with shoes on for the first time in over a week. We were in a pub by the river and a girl managed to drop her phone in the water - this was late at night and it was very dark. We could just see the phone at the bottom so I stripped off and got in to try and get it out. Couldn't see it from in the water - felt around a lot, and as I should have realised, being water next to a pub's outdoor tables, there was a lot of glass in there. When I got out I'd a nick on each big toe and a chunk gouged out of the sole of my right foot. Bit of a pain in the arse. Probably if I'd been barefoot when I went out my feet might have been in a better state for it but since I couldn't see what was down there anyway, I was always going to be at a disadvantage. Going to have to stand in a bath of disinfectant for a bit before I go to bed. It's already late enough as it is and I've got an early start tomorrow. Bugger.

I was in this old warehouse today, taking pictures. I happened to be wearing sandals, in case, and there were piles of nails laying all over... a friend of mine was showing me the place since he'd been there before. First of all, I had a blister from swimming... a blue crab latched onto my big toe and it got infected, then I was lucky as the nail went into the webbing instead of through my foot, though I was running through this field trying to get back to the road (it was part of an old Purina dog food factory that closed down in 1972, in the middle of bumfuck nowhere) and my foot started bleeding.

I stepped in glass this past week,it was my own fault..I dropped a case of beer on the sidewalk outside..glass and foamy beer went everywhere and I must have missed some of the glass bits when I cleaned it up. I walked outside later and I stepped right in it,oh such pain...then I ended up getting stung on the foot by a bee two days later(only bee sting this summer though).

    you're so accident prone.
I recon roads are better than pavements though, if there is any glass its in big patches and they are on average smoother than pavements, in my opinion.
My least favorite surface is ornimental type rock cerment things at the moment.

yes, indeed, stones on flat surfaces take me for shock value rather than really hurting more than gravel paths but you are special ;)
