I'm getting professional pics of my son in halloween costumes. Do you think that dressing my son up as a butterfly is too feminine?
hes also getting pics of him as a pea in a pod too. this is the costume, (its not my baby, lol). what do you think? too girly for a boy?

not too feminine. I mean there are male butterflies around too.... *giggle*

serously, in a way it's cute, except that the kid on the picture doesn't look too comfy, but I guess that's not the butterfly's fault.

Don't do it. My mom dressed me up like a cow for Halloween when I was little. I'm still traumatized. That butterfly is far worse than that anyway.

I think he's on asid and doesn't know what he's talking about. I think your son would look adorable in that costume :) And besides, he'll only be what 3 months old? He won't remember it ;)

isn't it compulsory for mum's to accumulate embarrassing photo's of their sons?

I think it is, it stops us getting egotistical in later life ;)

*shudders at the memory of his own mum showing his embarrasing baby pics*

On acid? I wish. Seriously, don't do it. And if you do, don't show him any pictures of it when he's older.

this may be the one chance to dress him up for halloween before he wants to be what all the other kids are going as. i did that with my son's first halloween. he was the devil with an angel costome over it and his horns were holding up his halo.

ever since then he's wanted to be something that 10 million other kids were.. POWER RANGER:p , darth maul, viking, baseball player..etc

Here's my son at three months. My husband says he will hate me when he grows up. I think it's so cute.

i don't think it's too feminine; it has the extra legs--that makes it a bug! Bugs are cool!

If i hadn't seen the pic, i would have said don't do it, but the one there looks totally acceptable to me.

it's inevitable that something we've done to our children will infuriate them later in life. it's the joy of parenthood.
