all of the scary movie series are fantastic as for horror films im gonna go with a nightmare on elm street. the whole series is good
I meant a scary movie, not the Scary Movies. But, I must have missed that there was already a thread... opps. Feel free to respond however you would like, since there is already a thread, this one doesn't count I guess. ha ha Talk amongst yourselves... whatever you wanna talk about, it is completely up to you!
Hi there, I like Nightmare on Elm Street. I don't care much for the 2 and 3 and whatever followed but the first one was awesome.
My favourite horror movies are the ones that leave everything to the readers imagination as opposed to grossing them out with monsters and stuff. The Others is one of mine. I like the old black and white ones too....
Exorcist : i'm i weird or.. am i the only one who didn't find the Exorcist scary in the slightest, i found it funny if anything!
I love the ending of Friday the 13th Part II, the edge-of-your-seat thrillride that is Hallowe'en II, and the general nihilism and decay of the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
shit the EXORCIST man! scariest movie of all time. whats scarier than the risk that you or one of your loved ones could easily be possessed by satan. IT is also pretty scary the first time you watch it. POLTRAGEIST!
I think The Exorcist for it's time is fantastic. Very controversial, especially in Catholic Ireland. It's creepy, but at the same time funny I think.
i'd have to say the shining is the perfect horror movie, jack nicholson is the perfect actor to play a madman, and stanley kubrick is the perfect director of such a movie. in fact, not only is the shining my favorite horror movie, its just about my favorite movie of any sort. but i also like carrie, the omen, and though not a horror film, the movie rosemary's baby is pretty close to being horror, and i like it a lot....
