Its weird, something as great and pure as music shouldnt be used to sell products. People listen to the radio for music, but are expected to sit through commericals so the company can make money. Or using classic rock songs in car commericials. I dont know, maybe im being dumb.

Why would you think you're being dumb? You really think you're alone in that? Check out www.adbusters.org There is a huge movement of activists who completely agree with you. Don't listen to corporate clones like da420 who never questioned anything in their entire life, just accepted everything they've ever heard at face value. Notice how he responded with "yup"...meaning, "yup you're being dumb". He can't even reply without saying something insulting.

Getting rid of a money-economy would solve this problem. Then things would be made for actual quality, not self-profit, and there would be no more commercials, maybe an information channel that allowed people airtime to sponser new products, all things would become artistic and unique and full of quality.

PS this thread makes me hungry.

Would you buy a car that doesn't appeal to you so they have to get you to look at it first.
