When are you heading to Shawnee?

hello family,

i'm stuck in babylon, indiana for the time being and it's making me sad. my plan is to go to shawnee next, i noticed on the illinois welcome here site there are sorta directions posted, when do you think is the soonest we could start arriving? i'm itching to get back into the woods...

Wouldn't recommend till late this month. It's a late Sept/early Oct thing.

I was at Ithaca gathering 2nd-26th Aug. Did we meet? Say hello to who?

i plan on being there in 2 to 3 days, right after a quick stop in Bloomington in.

 

Last year I was in Shawnee a couple days after the 18th(I remeber because it was my oldest's birthday on the 18th, road bday party, yay!). Last year was nice and small. It was so beautiful. I still dream of Shawnee...my heart aches to be there, its probably one of my favorite places. I wish I could go this year. Oh well, maybe next year. Have fun guys. love you family!

 

there are some rainbow people in town now.... i live 20 minutes away from shawnee... they got kicked out of makanda... heh.

 

i think i'm going to leave within the next few days. anyone want to come?

 

this is just so you all have a safe time at the shawnee gathering. my brother has been organizing the clean up for that gathering for the last ten years. (brent)

what are the dates? isnt it still lil early even for seed camp? or am i wrong?? if i have the dayes confused let me kno asap & i'll start seriusly lookin for a ride right away

 

Its almost that time for Shawnee-Yaaaaaahhhhhh. I Just left Humbolt before harvest to come home to Shawnee. This is my favorite and I am hitchin north from Florida here in a couple days. The official start on Shawnee is Columbus day, which is Oct10 (I think-unless the brain damage is getting worse).
Last year I was there from October 1 thru 28 thru a full moon cycle. There is family of many types that go to this gathering and there is homes in Carbondale and surrounding areas to deal with us early folks. If there is a new site this year then we have to scout soon. After all the messes of years past, the last 2 years have been realatively free of 6 up.
For those who wonder who I really am, well I am Jahma. I wonder who yous are. If anyone needs a hitching partner I will stop by and grab you up. Who is stuck in Indiana?

aww jahma! Zenia and I were wondering how you were the other day... haven't heard from ya in awhile. Glad to see your safe! I'm going to miss being there so have fun for me! Are you going to run your kitchen?

 

If that's not till 10 oct, it's not impossible that I'll see y'all there. Burned out beyond belief, but there.
