This is actually a problem that needs to be solved. I have a friend named michelle who went to camp and met this guy. I guess they got down pretty good cuz she loved him. Now michelle only went to this camp for a month, while this guy went for two mothns. It turns out that this kid got an antoher girl friend and had sex with her like a bunch after michelle left. Michelle found this out and is devistated. I've tried any and everything to make her feel better but it doesnt work. You guys got anythin good for me to say or do to make her feel good

if they knew each other for a month, it aint no big deal. Tell her to chill out, shell get over it in a day or so.

 

Some people feel very intense emotions in a very short time. I'm not saying it's love and I'm not saying it isn't. I'm just saying that there are different degrees with every type of person. If she's a very sensitive person (like me) it could take her several months to get over it.

However, she will deal with it in her own time. It might seem like there is nothing you can do for her but I always remembered the people that were there for me and helped me keep my mind on other things while I was dealing with the loss. I've been IN love with a guy for 4 years before and I got over it and have moved on. There is life after love, it just takes longer for some people. Sometimes some things reopen the wound and it seems tender for a day or two, but it gets to be less and less with time.

I find, for me, the only thing that truely gets me over a guy I've fallen for is to get out there and find love again. When she gets those butterflies in her tummy over some other guy she won't be thinking of the guy that broke her heart anymore. Just be there for her if she needs you. Only talk about it if she brings it up and try and get her out and doing something active. Don't give her time to think about it.

She'll get over it. It's fucking summer camp. Is she twelve or something?
