Angels and Demons....what do you think?

What do you think of Angels and Demons? I think it's pretty interesting.....it drags on a bit too much though...

 

i just reading it. a little too pompous for my taste, situations are too... tuned-up, i don't know. davinci was ok, digital fortress was disaster, this one will be somwhere in the middle i think

 

its interesting as well but not as good as Da Vinci Code though

 

I found it fascinating. I enjoyed the intricate detail with which he describes the insides of the Vatican, the anti-matter research facility, the intricate revelations of the Illuminati, the Hashashins and those peculiar diagrams were very clever indeed.

What a pity that he had to spoil it all with a list of ridiculous out-of-this-world feats where his main character always has the narrowest of escapes. Even James Bond would step back and sigh in disbelief.

The author is very capable of telling a good story. The plot had enough twists, controversy and atmosphere to carry the story through, without having to go over the top. Just needs to be toned down a bit and it would be nice to see a little more about the characters in it instead.

I hope I'm not being unfair, it's still worth reading if you haven't already.
