any recommendations other than gravol or advil? I can't even face coffee this morning, my tummy's too upset. I'm eating dry ramen without the flavour crap, that's how upset my stomach is (no crackers in ze house)
on the rare occasion i do have a hangover...i have a half-and-half mixture of water and gatorade/powerade - 16 oz of each, so i put a total of 32 oz of fluids into my body. and then i crash for a few hours.
Pepcid a/c (not the chewable) for your stomach, it will get rid of an upset stomach within 45 minutes, 400mg aspirin and 400mg tylenol combined for your headache. A healthy breakfast, a multi-vitamin pill and lots of fruit and water during the day. Works everytime for me.
Drink plenty of water beforehand. Also bread and such before you go to sleep, that should prevent the hangover. But the main thing is plenty of water, alcohol dehydrates you.
NO ..ive got the best one... unfailable.. its a little late now... but what i do, when i know ive been *(or will be) drinking... set your alarm clock (depending on what time you go to bed or need to be up) at about 5 am ish.... get up, have a shower... and force yourself to stay awake for 1 hour. (you will feel the hangover for the hour) then go back to bed for a good 4 hours and it will be gone (H) i discovered this by accident
I used to get wicked bad hangovers, and after years of dealing with them, I found a great cure. I quit drinking to the point of drunkenness. Never fails. I have 2 beer, or 2 glasses of wine, and then I switch to fruit juice or water. And, not only am I not hung over in the morning, I drove all my friends safely home, I remember everything I did the night before, and I can always find my pants.
I drink TONS of water and eat bread when I have a hangover. Lots of water will wash the alcohol out of your system...and like others have said, bread soaks up the alchol as well...
Ill try and drink a glass or two of water before i pass out if im not totally drunk, that or ill keep a bottle next to the bed so i can drink it if i wake up in the night
I find that just taking a multi-vitamin and drinking lots of Gatorade helps... Gatorade replenishes your body's nutrients, which are extremely low... Giving you the feeling of a hangover. Also, don't drink coffee. It doesn't help at all. All it does is keep you awake so you suffer more. Just drink a bottle of gatorade and take a multivitamin then fall asleep
Start off the day with the last drink of the previous night. Might not be the favorable choice of action, but it really does work. After that, lots of water and calm, quiet relaxing.
I just drink enough coffee to wake up enough to be able to focus on getting some food and water... Then after that little ammount of coffee, I figure drinking anymore will just dehyrdrate me more and leave me worse off!
What ever I got drunk on the night before, I have again the day after but in moderation. (Hair of the Dog) Coca Cola is good or Red Bull even Lucozade. But imo, nothing beats a joint of good marijuana though. LOL
