Good evenin guys and girls... Just curious...on a typical day, what does your breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack menues look like? Coffee or not? LOL...I don't know why I asked that...random.
whatever's around that tastes good and is healthy -- usually just cereal, fruits, vegetables, waffles, syrup... thats been it since i came back to wisconsin.
breakfast: raw oats, chopped fruit (usually apple, pear or some cantaloupe ...fresh coconut on special days), raisins & nuts sprinkled on top no lunch dinner: some type of bean (soy, chickpeas, blackeye, etc) w/ raw olive oil & soy sauce there's nothing on earth I'd rather eat! (except maybe a 1 lb block of chocolate... :& )
You mix the oats and fruit and stuff together? Hmmm...that sounds good. What kind of nuts? Just whatever you have?
Yep. If you like it more oatmealy you can pour (soy)milk on top, but I like it dry. The nuts are whatever's available... pecans & almonds are the best mmmm. If all goes well, it should turn out looking like this (yeah, my dogs love it, too)... (I've posted this before, but I just love showing off my pooches )
WISCONSIN?! I live there too it's rare to find someone on the internet from WI too... Anywho, to the starter of this thread: Breakfast = black coffee. Lunch = usually some sort of vegan soup, because it's easy to heat up in the little microwave we have at work Dinner= Usually some sort of protein [nuts, seeds, beans, etc...] with some sort of veggie, fruit, and soy milk. I usually eat grapes like crazy with dinner... Grapes are my friend
Breakfast: small yogurt, bagel and eggs and cheese (I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian) Snacks: some fruits and vegetables Lunch: A powed protein thing with Grapes, blackberrys, strawberrys (real fruit) drink all mixed togethear with a side salad Snack: Fruit Dinner: I don't know, it changes all the time. Snack: again, with fruit I have Alot of fruit since I don't really have full meals every time. I do take a Multivitamin "Centrum" from A to zinc
...mmm I ususally have toast with strawberry jam and vegemite for brekky Lunch... fuirt or chips or whatever pasta the uni has. Dinner - Lasagne, Pasta, Sopu, steamed or stir fried veggies with sauce or mashed potato.... I'm a pretty boring eater
I eat a fruit smoothie (sometimes a green smoothie) for breakfast/lunch. there's a lot of fruit in it so it's thick. and for dinner i've been eating vegan noodles, with tvp, spices and a bunch of veggies (it varies). That's what I've been eating for the last two weeks or so.
I think I'm gonna get the stuff to try that oatmeal/fruit concoction tomorow. That looks really good. I think we have some oatmeal already...so I have to just get some fruit! And find where my dad put the oatmeal...lol. I saw it on the counter a few days ago.
breakfast: raisin bran, multi vitamin and cod liver oil pill (in the winter) lunch: salad or cheese and crackers or nachos dinner: veggie burger or tofu or lentils or something protieny, stir fry snacks: fruits and veggies of any kind, oat/granola bars i'm a big snacker, i kinda eat all day. i don't drink coffee but i'm a green tea fiend.
You'll all be happy to know that in the last few days, I have taken steps closer to joining you...the other day when I was with my sister and soon-to-be step-mom, we stopped to get buritos. Instead of choosing beef or pork, I opted for Chicken...I would have tried the vegetarian burito, but I didn't see it until after I order. And today the only thing I've eaten since I missed breakfast was a plate of vegtables and potatoes. But they weren't very good because they were left overs from the other day. My dad is out of town, so I'm thinking thai food (they have orgasmic veggie stuff...lol) or maybe just get some fruit from the natural foods store.
well..today it was a croissant for breakfast...and then i just kind of snack till dinner..and i had spaghetti squash with vodka sauce...right now im eating dried fruit...yum
Vodka sauce? I've never heard of that...lol. Today I had Brocolli and Cauliflour and Potatoes...which weren't the best...they just tasted bland, but that's the chefs fault...NOT the veggies. It was really filling though. And now I just had some Peanut Butter on a piece of wheat bread. I bought some nectarines, so I'm gonna try the oatmeal/fruit concoction tomorow for Breakfast. Peanut Butter is Veggie-friendly, right?
Today I had a garden bugar which was so yummy. It had rice, soybean and eveything. I love garden bugars now
