Hey there, This would be the official Montreal's Tamtam Thread. Every sundays, cool people meet at the bottom of Mont-Royal in the great city that Montreal is. People dance, talk, meet new friends, drink, play good music, some of them (okay, a lot) take drugs. I'm there every sunday, I never missed one. It could be fun to see you there and talk with you and maybe start a new friendship relation. hope to see you there!
I love the tam tams!!! I even had my djembe with me the last time I was in Montreal but it was a crappy windy drizzly weekend I'm sure I'll make my way out to it again soon, I've been 2 or 3 times now and it's always an enriching experience
I always slowly realize , walking towards the park, hearing the tamtams louder and louder, that im heading for a place where I belong. Getting there is an experience. When youre there its peace.

have been to a couple gatherings a few summers ago... Montreal rocks! Now that i've moved to the west coast i've decided that if i ever leave, it'll be to Montreal. As cool as the gathering was though, we ended up breaking off with a few people and starting our own smaller circle... sometimes the beats get too repetitave and the tempo never changes... aside from the musical critique though, the scene was great...could smell the herb from just about as far away as you could hear the beats!
