I don't think I've ever posted here before, so hello all. That said, Jim Rome is Burning is without a doubt the best sports show ever. I don't know how many of you watch sports or sports shows, but it dosen't matter because Rome is the man regardless. His show (Jim Rome Is Buring on ESPN) is just so damn hilarious and intelligent, it's great for sports noobs and awesome for people who watch sports. Nothing beats tearing apart Mike Tyson and Tonya Harding, then following that up by blasting Michelle Wi (a 14 year old). She's only 14 for Christs sake! But Rome has no shame, she becomes victim to the paper-shredder like ripping-ness anyway. I can't say enough about the show, it's great, and anyone who is into sports probably knows the name Jim Rome but you might not know he has a show. It's on late night on ESPN, the time probably differs from area to area. Watch it.
I haven't watched the show on ESPN but I have listened to his radio program quite often. The guy is a trip and no one is safe from his wrath. :X
I'm actually into sports, I've seen his show a few times. To be honest the dude doesn't strike me as that intelligent, more of an obnoxious asshole in my opinion. Not that I have a problem with say, tearing apart Tyson and Harding etc., but Rome just smacks of asshole-ish arrogance. That's just my view anyway. My favorite sports show is Pardon The Interruption - now there's an intelligent sports show. Kornheiser and Wilbon kick ass.
