Brainless manufactured pop like that has made and widely distributed since the 40s. There was plenty of lame music in the 60s too. It's nothing to bitch about, just ignore it.. cuz if you really want to think about it, bad music greatly outnumbers the good
its kinda fun to listen to. i have a real broad taste. ill listen to anything from that to pink floyd to vincent gallo and everything in between.
True Aerosolhalos, but the pushing of "sanitized" music also goes back to publishing, before radio! Tin Pan Alley had predecessors. We've lived with marketed by the tone deaf music for so long now, no one really gets upset.
ive had a strong horrible vibe from that poppy girl since she first came out in Lizzy Macguire.. then i saw her on MTV realizing she was trying to sing music..just like the rest of the pop stars.. they can look pretty so they must be able to do everything else too, right? hahaha yaaa
