I have my nose peirced and want a small thin sliver hoop. I cannot really find them anywhere! I found some at Walmart but I don't think they are ment for your nose even though they are called "body jewelry" Anyway, the one I have would look good but I can't get the damn thing to hook together on the inside. So where did you get your ultra cool hoop?
Ya, thats where I looked at first ...when I got it peirced I had it done with a hoop but it was so big (the smallest they had) that I replaced it with a stud. I want it more silver and shiny and thin... BUT!! My hot tattoo guy (who just did my tat) has some, maybe he has what Im looking for. Any excuse to look at him again
heuy i just got myne done on monday, and just asking howlong should i leave it till i can change it? cos i tried to chnage it yesterday but my stud wich just had this hook like shape to it, wont go through to the other side properly. so yeah any advice from fello people with nose pircings would be greatly appreciated.
dont use a regular ear hoop from walmart as the gauge is not big enough and your hole will begin to close up around the hoop. id had my nose pierced for 4 years and it still would start to heal up after just a day of not having a nose ring in....i dunno, maybe its different for others, but you just got yours done recently right? just call around to tat shops....someone somewhere should have one...or order one from the internet. flowerchild...do you have a cork screw ring in and having trouble trying to take it out? you cannot pull it out, you must ease it out and turn it slowly untill it comes out. sorry if thats not what you were asking.... you should really wait untill it heals to change it....6-8 weeks.
Yeah, you should definitely wait AT LEAST six weeks, even though my piercer told me to wait eight weeks to change it. I, on the other hand, took mine out THE DAY AFTER I got it done...I definitely wouldn't recommend that...It HURT LIKE HELL and it took two years to finally heal up. flowerchild, I'm surprised your piercer didn't go over with you the care of your new piercing...if that's the case, I suggest for future piercings you go elsewhere...
no i dont have a corkscrewring in. the one i got it donr with is a strait stud.and the one i'm gonna put in has a hook like shape to it. so yeah.
ok I pierced mine with a streight stud too. and it took a while to work in the corkscrew ring.. but what you have to do it put the tip in and slowly move it around..try to put a bit of pressure on the ring as you turn it into your nose. or you could always just goto a local piercer and have them do it.
I have a small hooop in my nose. Basically, it is the same Captive Bead Ring I got it pierced wiht, but i took out the bead and bent the two ends past eachother, so the ring would fit the way I wanted it to. It hasn't been a problem, and its been that way for over a year. Then, you just spin the open ends inside the nose and it look normal. Peace
