    Hey,
Its about day 38 and my hair is gettin' pretty tangled n matted. I generally tie my hair back in a bobble and ive noticed that when i take it out, i have loads of hairs. Like a a small clump. Is this normal? I also get loads of hairs when i play with my hair, so should i stop touchin' it??

Also, im thinkin' of buyin' a tam hat so that I can keep it in there for a couple of weeks n then see how its goin'. Is this a good idea n what kind should I buy??

    Cheers,
    Arron.
    Peace.

Do you mean loads of hair coming out of your head? Eh, that should be fine. I still get some broken ends when I do a lot of rolling or rubbing.

I'd go for a wool one.

i never bothered tyin mine, ..i did wear a tam at times, but not too often, 1 thing ya can try when goin natural as i did is adding some beads or peyote stitches..or even wrapping the ends ..keeping em tied up in a clumpp might lead to trouble when they try formin into 1 huge dread

Eagle, your dreads are beautiful! *drools*

I was thinkin' about beads last night. Would puttin' beads on clumps of hair help to seperate the hair, thus helpin' my hair dread into dreads easier?? Also, do I have to take them out when i wash my hair???

    Cheers.
    Peace.

Yeah, most likely. It'll keep them seperate. I never take my beads out. A lot of them won't come out.

i dont take out my beads either... i take out some decorations because they are a little more delicate, but the beads stay in and seem to be doing fine.
