Right...deep belief...wow...such a fucktard. So for the longest time people of the world had a deep belief that the world was flat and that the universe revolved around Earth. Well, we all know where that went down in the history books. So as yourself I am going to stick to my theroy (not story) and take our good buddies advice. I'm going to pick up a book on basic physics and learn. Maybe I will change my mind, maybe I won't.

 

so do that you narrow minded idiot, as for your "theroy" well.... in order to have one you first need :
1) a brain,
2) a functional nervous system
3) some basic understanding of how your brain works
4) a not so narrow mind
in your case... there is something missing.... 1+2+3+4

The point is that the definite existance of a thing is entirely dependant on the things it interacts with (human observer, camera, or just the table it's sitting on). Existance is relative, that is, dependant on relationship. Nothing exists on it's own, the only thing that exists is the relationship. We are all connected

Thanks for the advice man, I'm always trying to learn new things about the world (or worlds) around me. I just have a couple of other books to read right now but I'll be sure to check out this one!

 

i remember watching a episode of the twilight zone once. in it this guy was just walking round normally, then he stumbled up on a street that hadnt been built that day as no one was supposed to be goin down there, its little troll things with spanners that keep it all together.


i know reality around us seems very solid and unchangable, but part of that reality is dreaming, if anyone has ever had a lucid dream(not to be confused with a vivid dream) then theyll know that the dream world is 100% as real as this world as in to look at touch and smell etc, but everyday rules dont apply there, light switches never ever work for a start. and you can fly.
but it is as real as this reality.
makes me think that if a dream is as real as this how do we know this isnt a dream but with a more stable set of rules.

but maybe its just the trolls, who knows.
i dont think reality is a question science will ever find a answer too.
