ok so i love minimal underwear...feels good to me...but i wanna start to make/design my own since i love searching for my style and half the time don't find it or can't afford it. Anyone have patterns or sites or anything to help me make my dream thongs? I know it wouldn't be hard (i guess) but i feel like i need some direction before i attempt it. HUGS
take apart a pair you already have and like, and use it for a pattern. i don't know of any commercial patterns for thongs/g strings, so that's the only way i can think to do it.
A g-string is pretty much a triangle with strings, isn't it? For a thong, just make the bottom corner of the triangle into a long, narrow rectangle that turn into a "T" at the back. The other two corner of the triangle should be shaped to meet the "T" at the side seams. ===-----=== ..........\....../ ............\./...........<----Thong pattern .............|| .............|| =============
you could make a pair that tie at each side - would be easy to start off with as they wouldn't have to be elastic and you would have some margin for error
