    Florida child killer gets 5 years for running down a small boy in the street - he had over 25 infractions on his license and driving priviliges revoked for life.

    Shouldn't he have gotten life? I'm confused because isn't killing someone also a felony?

    only if you do it on purpose. He was only driving slightly over the speed limit (right?) and the boy WAS playing by the street...

    Damn, that was in the paper last week and I threw it out, now I can't find any reference to it at all on the paper's website or anywhere else, either.

    That kind of thing happens here too. There are harsher punishments for petty things. The law seems screwed up.

    california dog killer gets life in prision. if it were up to me id pour molten lead in his eyes and throat while a colony of army ants devoured the rest of him, life in prison or any humaine form of execution is too light a sentence for this uncle fucker
