Love is patient and kind. It's never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited, it is never rude or selfish, it does not take offence, nor is it resentful. Love takes no pleasure in others' sin but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end. There are three things that last, faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love.
one of my favourite verses of all time.... so much truth in it; shows me too that i have never truly loved
i totally agree. that's from corinthians isn't it...inspiring and hopeful. try putting your name instead of the word love and strive to be those things, that's what i do.
But we're all human beings, jealousy, conceit, selfishness, rudeness, resent are all parts of humanity, i find i can't not to be jealous in some special situation. and u?
it's hard not to be jealous or selfish sometimes, but at the end of the day they are negative attributes and striving to not be those things or be them less surely is a good thing?
then, like me, you havent released yourself from your addiction to the emotions.....if you truly love yourself a hundred percent.....then you have everything and there is nothing to be jealous about.
I love ya'll. http://shekinah.elysiumgates.com/ The Shekinah eventually became an interchangeable term with the Holy Spirit in both Judaism and Christianity. She is often pictured as a bird or dove. In Christianity the Holy Spirit is seen as the Advocate, Guide and Comforter (John 14:16-26 and Acts 9:31)
